History
Aquarium Hosting is a small hosting company setup by the owners of the aquarium help site Aquarium Advice. Aquarium Hosting was created to satisfy what we preceved to be gap in the hosting business. Many members of our advice site and many other help sites we would visit would have members who wanted to share their aquariums with the world but where unable because of either high costs assocated with some other web hosts or the preceved difficulty in setting up an attractive photo album.

  Jan 2004  Aquarium Hosting is born out of the need for specialized hosting for aquarium enthusasts Our hosting plans are low cost and come with plenty of extras that aquarium keepers can benefit. Standard features will include a photo gallery and a web based tank logging script.  
 


What makes us so different from all the rest?
Aquarium Hosting has created affordable webhosting packages that are designed with the aquarium hobbist in mind. Each webhosting package comes standard with a photo gallery script and a web based tanklogging program. Hobbists can use the gallery to show of their tanks as well as use the tank log script to keep track of their tank directly. This logging script can be used for personal use or you can allow others to view the log as a day by day "blog" of the aquarium. Some of the basic features the tank logging script gives the hobbists is the ability to keep track of tank expenses, create a tank maintance schedule and develop a detailed listing of the livestock within the tank.

  
   
      
 

Support:
Personal Attention is another important factor that first time hosting customers are interested in. Many of the hobbists who are looking for a way to show off their aquarium online are also first time webmasters. Support is key to those clients and with our support forum customers can post their questions for quick attention by our tech support staff as well as by their fellow aquatic webmasters.
To assist with new customers we have two specialty areas in our support forum. Our Tip of the week forum is where we post once a week special little hints or tips for our clients. We also have an ever developing How To's forum where members can find detailed information on how to setup their gallery and tank log as well as information on how to use these scripts.
